MTN, Northmedia Concept And State Of Mind Are Planning Something Big - THE SPEECH

I Abubakar Abdulmalik the founder Great Yola Ambassadors and CEO North media concept . Once again I welcome you to ADAMAWA ART AND CULTURE FESTIVAL
Our State Art and Culture industry and entertainment is facing a lot of challenges and as a result lots of potential resources are left untapped due to; lack of unity of purpose, cohesion,, sentiment just to mention a few. This has led to our backwardness compared to what is practiced in other states.
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen,Why are we not on the map, is it the talent, resources or support of the masses that is lacking? Definitely non of the above, but as mentioned earlier, few premodial issues like sentiments, stagnance and lack of promotion, support from both private and public sector, static dominance in the leadership positions, etc made us to remain where we are today. We therefore need to change in order to forge ahead..

Today we are witnessing a new era where partners from the American University of Nigeria,(AUN) National Orientation Agency (NOA) Representative of Film and Censorship, Ministry of Information and ….. Are all gathered here today with and i quote the word of the Ministry which gives its ” SUPPORT &
ASSUARANCES TO PARTNER WITH ART & CULTURE FESTIVAL, AND SIMILAR ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE YOUTH AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS ACHIEVE THE GOALS IN PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY”.
And to the National Film and Video Censoring Board, we hope and pray will make available
GRANTS FOR FILM PRODUCERS AND SCRIPTWRITERS WITH GOOD CONTENT which will
PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT FOR OUR TEEMING YOUTH in line with the with the Federal Government VISION 2020. on employment and Youth Empowerment.
If we are able to form a synergy and harmonise our differences, we can blend the industry with support from government, individuals, our hypeman, bloggers, Film makers, artists, musical actors, models and our event planners. This can translate to a very big family full of mutual understanding and respect for each other.

And with the high use of modern communication system, the social media and TV platforms, our expertise and talents will be exposed and thus be relevant in the entertainment market.
We cannot continue to operate the way we do now and expect progress and development. For us to move and catch up with other States , we have to change the naratives.
My Dear AREWA people, AREWA we know and AREWA we built and AREWA is ours. I want to use this opportunity to ask you to repeat
“I WILL BE PART OF THE CHANGE TRAIN IN MY STATE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY
Thank you
With this i will urge all our artistes and entertainment Industry Icons who are rising stars to set aside all sort of sentiment, envy, ignorance or hatred against one another.
Let’s all put our hands on deck to make our selves great because we can only become great when we make each other great .
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, our various stakeholders here, we can declare a state of emergency to our entertainment industry and manage to make our people see the abundant untapped potentials, they will begin to like and invest in the industry. We need to cooperate, involve ourselves in activities, get exposed and the world will see and appreciate our culture, arts and values.
To our esteemed partners, within and outside, the NOA, MINISTRY OF INFORMATION, TV PLATFORM, and sponsors we are now good to go and ready for the desired change and to move the Industry to a greater height.
Meanwhile, i remain the great Yola Ambassador, that has Adamawa at heart and will put all efforts to see that we make AREWA great THANK YOU.
