Its no doubt that King Bawa popular known as Yung Kheengz, Kheeng for short and YFK has been been in much effort in addressing the Stereotypes ascribed the North through his music most especially "I Am North" & "Almajiri" by Niger state art.
It is in this light a Final Year Student Of A.B.U Zaria named Ali Maryam Zakari she did her final year project title: "Semantic Analysis Of Selected Hausa Hip Hop Songs “A Study Of Kheengz” I Am North & Aljamiri"
The song "I Am North" Song Which Performed By Kheengz The i Am North Got So Much Recognition all Over The north and also Trended on Twitter and other social network platforms. A song which spoke about the beautiful things, personalities the North has and has to to offer.
"Almajiri" on the other hand addresses the issue of young kids who beg on the street, and possible ways to curb such situations and help out.
These songs depicts the power of music a powerful tool given by God to address issues, help settle situation.
