One of the leaders Arewa hip-hop movement Kheengz hits back with a ‘nu nu’ jam he calls “Almajiri”.
In “Almajiri” Kheengz tries to change and better explain the idea of almajiri, often see as a group of unfortunate children who go begging for alms with plates.
The message on this track is that “Almajiri” originally means student in Arabic language. Kheengz drops beautiful gems on this record.
