NEWS: FG Halts Military Raid Of Daily Trust Office In Borno


Nigerian Soldiers  raided the of office of the country’s Daily Trust newspaper in Borno  and arrested two of its journalists following an article about the military’s fight against Islamist militants in the northeast, the newspaper said on Sunday.
The Nigerian army said in an emailed statement that the paper, in an article published on Sunday, had “divulged classified military information, thus undermining national security”.

The Federal government have however ordered the military to vacate the offices of the publishers of Daily Trust newspapers in Borno State.

Presidential spokesman Garba Shehu disclosed this in a Tweet on Sunday night;
