EVENTS: Blind Weds Cripple Today At Sabon Tasha Kaduna

A memorable event took place today at Ungwan Gimbiya located in Sabo, Chickun Local Government Area of Kaduna state Nigeria. Something which seems rare and shocking but yet amazing and unique, am talking about two physically challenged persons who happen to be deeply in love with each other taking the bold step to tie the nut by saying "I do" to each other.

Mr. Sunday Paul who happens to be blind  and Miss. Rahab John a cripple had their wedding solemnization in the early hours of today 17th November 2018 at St. Clement Catholic Church Ungwan Gimbiya Sabon Tasha Kaduna. Northerly Media were not present to capture the event at the church premises, but we were at the reception which took place at a football field opp. NEPA office Ungwan Gimbiya.

It was and it is a thing of joy seeing such persons who are challenged physically but not emotionally take such a bold step.
Watching the groom and bride feed themselves was so romantic and  captivating, it caught the attention of many who were present at the event. Some even shaded tears of joy.

It then came to the time when the MC in person of Black Albino ushered the couple to the dancing floor, while dancing the colleagues of the bride who happen to be crriples as well as loved one's and well wisher's also joined them to dance.
The fact that the couple were physically challenged, this didn't stop them from grooving to the wonderful songs played by Dj Reggae.

Northerly Media were actually supposed to interview the couple, but due to the stress they had undergone we were unable to, for they had to leave the venue as soon as the event was brought to a close

Northerly Media wishes Mr. and Mrs. Sunday Raphael a happy married life filled with joy and God's blessings.

Indeed the saying "love conquers all" can effectively be seen in the lives of these ones.
