States such as Kaduna had a low compliance with the directives of the NLC, however this didn't in anyway prevent tertiary institutions in the state from being affected by the on going strike.
Students of the prestigious Ahamadu Bello University woke up in the early hours of today to go about their daily activities as students, only to meet a very scanty school with most departments and labs on lock, however the parking lots of staffs and lecturers were left almost completely empty with no vehicles to occupy them.

Student however were seen moving out of the schools premises carrying bags, for them the on going strike has paved way for them to rest their heads before the forth coming sessional exams, while for others most especially final year students the strike will rather increase the duration of their stay in the school before graduation.
